Fitasy aims to modernize this outdated model, moving away from plaster casts and specialists to create shoes quickly and accurately.
Their solution seamlessly integrates spatial AI, advanced imaging, and digital light projection 3D printing. Customers can capture a 360-degree model of their feet using their smartphone, recording the true geometry with market-leading precision. The software then generates a personalized fit profile, ensuring each shoe is printed to the exact contours of the individual's foot.
Fitasy's design features a triple-layer lattice structure made from a single material. This structure adapts to the foot, enhancing shock absorption, reducing impact, and promoting faster recovery. According to Yujun Wang, CEO and Co-Founder of Fitasy, "The foot is one of the most complex mechanical structures of the human body - with 33 joints, 26 bones, over 100 muscles, tendons, ligaments, and more than 8000 nerves all working together to support every step." He adds that achieving a comfortable and healthy shoe fit remains a challenge for many, especially women. Fitasy's vision is to make true personalization affordable, stylish, and accessible for anyone who has ever suffered from ill-fitting shoes.
Fitasy's technology was developed by a multidisciplinary team of engineers, material scientists, and computational imaging specialists with experience from prestigious institutions like MIT, Caltech, and Imperial College London.
Fitasy will debut this technology at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. The waitlist is open now, with consumer orders expected to begin in Spring 2026.
