Dimensional Double Shift arrives in solo mode with a Samsung Galaxy XR launch, marking its biggest update to date.
Originally debuted in early access on Quest, Dimensional Double Shift is a cooperative party game from the Job Simulator studio that tasks players with whipping up food orders and repairing vehicles for residents across diverse dimensions. After the October release of the New Joysey DLC, the game expands to Samsung Galaxy XR headsets and now supports cross-platform multiplayer with Meta Quest devices.
This Galaxy XR release is complemented by a free Winter Update, which introduces Solo Practice Experiment—the game’s first true single-player mode designed to teach players the core mechanics in a structured, self-guided way.
New features also include rotating weekend Boosters, starting with the limited-time "Midas Touch" modifier that turns everything you touch into gold. Other Boosters spice things up with effects like turning your mouth into a flamethrower and extending your arm reach, among others. The celebration continues with the Snow-vertime Fest from December 18 to January 5, featuring a festive hub, winter-themed avatar cosmetics, and new interactions.
Dimensional Double Shift is currently available in early access on both Meta Quest and Samsung Galaxy XR platforms.
